My sweet friend Mary ordered a painting of her black lab from me. His name is Brix and he is oh so handsome!! She requested a red background to match his collar. I'm so glad she did! I think the bright color really makes him POP.

Our good friends Luke and Jessica have the cutest little dog in the world! Her name is Lily Mae and shes a hoot! I just love her to pieces! I was so excited when Jessica ordered a painting of her from me. The best part about this is that this painting is an 8x10. The painting itself will be twice the size of her!

Its so wonderful when I see how happy people are with their portraits. My friend Elizabeth loved her portrait so much, she took a photo of it with her pup! It just means so much to me! She even posted it on facebook and it has resulted in several of her friends ordering portraits. Wahoo!!

Sara and Dancer

When I bought Redford over 5 years ago my good friend Sara bought her horse Dancer. This Christmas our friend Erin commissioned me to paint a portrait of Dancer for Sara. At first I thought of just painting him, but then I decided to include Sara. I'm so glad I did. This is one of my most favorite paintings I've ever done!!!
